Exhibition “Survivors: Faces of Life after the Holocaust” at the ECB

From January 29 to February 26, 2025, the moving exhibition “Survivors: Faces of Life after the Holocaust” by renowned photographer Martin Schoeller will be on display at the ECB. In the rooms of the historically significant Grossmarkthalle, 56 of the original 75 impressive portraits of Israeli Holocaust survivors are on display. Between 1941 and 1945, over 10,000 Frankfurt Jews were gathered in the Grossmarkthalle before their deportation. The exhibition is being held to mark the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau.
